Minister of Health of Serbia, Prof. Dr. Danica Grujičić visited the Health Center in Kuršumlija, which is the most important health institution for the town of over 13,000 inhabitants and its surrounding area, with the Health Center in Lukovska Banja resort and clinics in Žuč, Grabovnica, Rudar, Dobro Dol and Kuršumlijska Banja resort, Prolo Banja resort and Rača.

According to the strategy which Prof. Dr. Danica Grujičić established at the beginning of her mandate, the minister is directly informed on the what is happening on the field every day about the functioning of the Serbian health system. "My idea, which I will work on until it becomes a reality, is to provide every health center in Serbia, be it in the city or in the countryside, with the necessary equipment so that doctors can carry out many more examinations in their health centers than at this moment, instead of sending patients to other institutions. This will significantly contribute to the improvement of the health system and lead to faster and more efficient treatment of patients," said Dr. Grujičić in Kuršumlija and announced the work on developing the family doctor system in health care.
