The Republic of Serbia has received financing from the World Bank for the Serbia Emergency COVID-19 Response Project. It intends to apply part of the proceeds for consulting services.

 

The consulting services ("the Services") are related to increasing the country's capacity to respond to the threat posed by COVID-19 and strengthen the national health system for public health preparedness in Serbia by procuring a total of 55 CT and 135 X-Ray devices, which will be distributed to 47 and 120 health care institutions, respectively.Works renovation/reconstruction must be performed at 144 locations, to accommodate current spaces for new equipment. Individual engineers – individual consultants, will perform the services of technical supervision of work on renovation /reconstruction. The supervision services will be in line with the legislation of the Republic of Serbia and international norms envisaged in the design.

On behalf of the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Serbia, the Project Coordination Unit now invites individual consultants – civil construction engineers ("Consultants") to indicate their interest in providing the Services. Interested individual consultants should provide information demonstrating that they have the required qualifications and relevant experience to perform the Services. The shortlisting criteria are:

  • University degree in the field of civil construction engineering;
  • Minimum five years of relevant professional work experience;
  • Good knowledge of Serbian legislation of civil works;
  • Good command of the English and Serbian language, both oral and written;
  • Possession of a valid driver's license;
  • Computer literacy;

 

The attention of interested Consultants is drawn to Section III, paragraphs 3.14, 3.16, and 3.17 of the World Bank's "Procurement Regulations for IPF Borrowers" July 2016, revised November 2017 and August 2018 ("Procurement Regulations"), setting forth the World Bank's policy on conflict of interest.  

 

A Consultant(s) will be selected in accordance with the IC (Individual Consultants) method set out in the Procurement Regulations. Further information can be obtained at the address below during office hours 09.00 to 17.00 hours.
